Left Hander Day is my birthday! I will enjoy the double holiday.

  2. Ken Johnson says:

Probably the most useful thing a left-hander can do is to teach other left-handers to write with a real pen. A fountain pen, not a scratch stick.

My teachers at school had no idea how to write left handed. For those who would like to write neatly with their left hand, the secrets are,

    1. Write slowly. Nobody ever made great art in a hurry.

    2. Keep your hand below the writing line. Don’t put your hand in the mirror image of a right handed person writing, because you will smudge the work as you go along. Put your hand below the work, with the pen pointing from bottom to top, not across the work from left to right.

    3. Practise.

    Best wishes, Ken Johnson

I crochet, people are always asking how I do it being a left hander…. Just like you!!!! I even follow right handed patterns, not that hard.

Moral is, left handers ARE smarter than right handers!!!!

    • Nannieannie says:

I also crochet right handed. Just learning and the lady teaching me is right handed so I really haven’t got any other choice but to do it the same way. I am getting there.
