I came from a family of 5 that supported me being left handed. Sono venuto da una famiglia di 5 che mi ha sostenuto di essere sinistra. My father done every thing right handed until he joined the army in WWII and he shot a rifle left handed. In my family of my wife 3 childern 6 grandkids and 3 inlaws, there is 1 child and his wife and 1 of their to kids that are left handed. Nella mia famiglia di mia moglie 3 bambini 6 grandkids e 3 inlaws, vi è 1 bambino e sua moglie e 1 di loro per bambini che si sono lasciati mani. In school in the 70's the teacher tryed to teach me to do everything right handed excpt a drafting teacher in high school. A scuola negli anni 70 l'insegnante tryed per insegnare a me fare tutto con mano destra excpt una formulazione insegnante in liceo. He told me that he had never had a left handed student before, but if I was willing he would learn with me and we did. Mi ha detto che egli non aveva mai avuto una sinistra studente prima, ma, se mi è stato disposto avrebbe imparare con me e abbiamo fatto. I just did everything backwards from the righties. Ho appena ha fatto di tutto indietro dal righties.

Did you do that on purpose? Hai fatto che a fine? No, I am left handed. No, io sono left handed. My husband is right handed and he has never been aroung a lefty. Mio marito è con mano destra e lui non è mai stato uno aroung Lefty. I do everything opposite of him. I fare tutto il contrario di lui. In first grade I had a nervous break down and was in the hospital. In primo grado ho avuto un nervoso abbattere ed è stato in ospedale. A wise doctor finally discovered I was being forced to write right handed. Un saggio medico finalmente mi è stato scoperto essere costretti a scrivere con mano destra. Does anyone else have to break the habit of reading magazines and books from the back to the front. Non hanno nessun altro a spezzare l'abitudine di leggere riviste e libri dal retro verso la parte anteriore. Hmmmmm Hmmmmm

I grew up in the 50's with NO ONE including myself realizing I was a lefty. Sono cresciuto in anni 50, senza che nessuno me compreso realizzare ero Lefty. I was in high school and realized how bad my handwriting was and I taught myself to slant my letters backwards and my writing improved. Ero in liceo e realizzato come cattiva la scrittura a mano e mi è stato insegnato a me stesso slancio indietro la mia lettere e la mia scrittura migliorata. I know I'm unique and people don't know I'm a lefty until I write and the "always" comment. So che sto unico e non sanno che sono un Lefty fino a quando scrivo e il "sempre" commento. I am from a family of 9 and am the only lefty, as was my Aunt and I have one son who inherited it. Io sono da una famiglia di 9 e sono l'unico Lefty, come è mia zia e ho un figlio che ha ereditato. He too is a corker and writes worse than I. I tried to teach him but the teachers kept teaching him different. Anche lui è un Corker e scrive peggio di I. Ho cercato di insegnare a lui, ma gli insegnanti tenuti lui insegnamento diverso. It's definately a righties world with leftys compensating! E 'sicuramente un righties mondo con leftys compensatori! Maybe there should be a monatary compensation out there for being a minority, like scholorships, or retirement money...:>) Forse ci dovrebbe essere una compensazione monatary là fuori per essere una minoranza, come scholorships, o pensionamento denaro ...:>)

My lefthandedness was never an issue with my parents except they really couldn't help with penmanship. The coolest part of my lefty-hood is that the last lefty in my family before me is my maternal great grandma who I am named after. When I was a child my family was supportive of my being left handed but most of my teachers kept trying to turn me into a righty. Quando ero un bambino la mia famiglia è stata di sostegno del mio essere consegnato a sinistra ma la maggior parte dei miei insegnanti tenuti cercando di girare a me in un righty. It was to say the least very frustrating. E 'stato a dir poco molto frustrante.

Was difficult when I was learning to write my parents wanted me to use my right hand but I was too stubborn and the teacher eventually worked with me. È stato difficile quando ero imparare a scrivere i miei genitori mi voleva usare la mia mano destra, ma ero troppo ostinato e infine l'insegnante ha lavorato con me. My mom helped me with my left hand writing the most. Mia madre mi ha aiutato con la mia mano sinistra la scrittura di più. And she was right handed. E fu con mano destra.

Growing up in the 1950's was very difficult for a left handed person. Cresce negli anni 1950 è stato molto difficile per una persona sinistra. The teacher would come around and slap my wrist with a ruler to force me to write right handed. L'insegnante venire intorno e schiaffo il mio polso con un righello per forzare me a scrivere con mano destra. All the desks in the class room were made for right handed people. Tutti i banchi in classe sono stati realizzati per persone con mano destra. One teacher even put me in a corner away from all the other students and ignored me.
